What does it cost?
To list a property with us costs just $29 a month.

Do I need any special hardware / software to use your service?
No. Our system is web-based and very easy to use.

How do I list a property?
Once you sign up via our website, all you need is the MLS number for the house. If you don't have an MLS number, that's okay too. Log in, click "Add New Listing", enter the MLS number then click "Continue". Verify the information (or enter the information if you didn't enter an MLS number) and then click "Add This Listing". You pay the amount for that month, and your listing is active!

How does it work?
The home-buyer drives past a home they like. They text your Property ID to our shortcode. Within seconds they receive an instant message in return with the details about your property.

What does this cost the home-buyer?
The home-buyer is subject to their cell-phone carrier's standard text messaging rates, but Text-A-Rama does not charge them anything for using our service.

Which cell phone carriers does your service work with?
Text-A-Rama services are fully compatible with all the major carriers: Alltel, Boost, AT&T, MetroPCS, Nextel, Sprint, T-Mobile, US Cellular, Verizon, Virgin Mobile US, ACS Wireless, Amerilink Wireless, Arch Wireless, Cellcom, Cellular One, Cellular South, Centennial, Central Wireless, Cincinnati Bell, Cricket, Dobson Cellular, Edge Wireless, Iowa Wireless, Metrocall US , Midwest Wireless, North Coast PCS, Ntelos, Pacific Bell, Qwest Wireless, Rural Cell, Southwestern Bell, Suncom, Triton PCS, Western Wireless. New carriers can and are being added as needed. If you use a carrier that doesn't appear on this list please contact us.

What States does your service work in?
Our service will work anywhere in the US that is covered by the participating cell-phone carriers.

Are you compatible with FSBO?
Yes, you are welcome to list your FSBO property with us.

Is this compatible with Do Not Call laws?
We take the privacy of our clients and their customers very seriously. Our system is fully compatible with Do Not Call laws and the Mobile Marketing Association's guidelines.

What is a shortcode?
The shortcode is the 5 or 6 digit number that a text message is sent to. These are much easier to remember than standard length phone numbers. Text-A-Rama uses the shortcode 313131.

What is a keyword?
The keyword is the first word of the message that is sent to our system. Text-A-Rama uses the keyword "home".

What is a Property ID?
The Property ID is what identifies your unique property listing. For example if your Property ID is "abc3" then the customer texts "home abc3" to 313131. Property IDs can also be re-used.

Why do I need to print my own signs?
Your signs belong to you and can be re-used as often as you need. We have relationships with printing companies to help expedite the printing of your signs. We also provide you with a free PDF of your sign which is ready to print, if you want to use your own printing company.
